For our Support Workers who live on the QLD/NSW border, the QLD Government has announced Essential Workers, which includes Support Workers, will need to have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccination before being able to cross the border into QLD.

As of the 20th of August 2021, the lockdown for Greater Sydney has been extended until the end of September. If you are not providing essential support you must follow the latest stay at home requirements.
From the 30th of August 2021, Disability Support Workers, who live or work in a local government area of concerns must enter or remain in your place of work unless you’ve have:
- At least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccination.
- Been issued a medical contraindication certificate.
